What does the role involve?

You will manage the area as if its your own business, ensuring that you have a plan to develop new and existing customers, forecasting sales, and identifying opportunities with resources needed.

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to spend your time in the field visiting customers asking open questions to uncover opportunities, support with challenges and work closely with the internal sales team to develop leads and close opportunities. You will use our software to support with the role, such as a CRM system and outlook to plan your week.

You will develop strong working relationships through all levels of the customers from plant operators to MD’s, update the CRM system with contact data, create and update account development plans to reflect customer growth through opportunity led business.

Attend monthly sales meetings to input into the strategy for the company and report on support needed with resource required.

What you need:

Customer facing sales experience – Industry experience preferred but not essential.

Organisational Skills – Managing your time, priorities and can work autonomously.

Collaboration – Working across the business, internal sales, repairs, logistics etc.

Curiosity – Developing knowledge in the industry and identifying opportunities.

Resilience – Comfortable to meet all levels of the business from operator to managing director.

Drive – Passion to succeed and develop yourself & the business.
